Aurelio Fuentes is the Co-Founder & Partner at DECA Analytics, LLC, where he focuses on executing the firm’s strategic efforts and Key Account Management. He supports the firm’s clients by advising on Puerto Rico financial incentives optimization and access to non-dilutive incentives. With over 25 years of experience in different industries, such as banking, financial services, pharmaceuticals, software, information technology, manufacturing, real estate, telecommunications, healthcare, life sciences, insurance, waste management, and cybersecurity, Mr. Fuentes brings extensive expertise to his role at DECA Analytics.
Throughout his career, Mr. Fuentes has a proven track record of advising numerous companies on creating and implementing out-of-the-box initiatives, partnerships, and collaborations that have generated new revenue streams and increased profitability. He has worked closely as a liaison between the public and private sectors, supporting business owners, C-Suite executives, and local and federal government agencies on strategic initiatives within Puerto Rico.
Aurelio has a Double Major BBA with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing, and minors in Mathematics, Chemistry, and HR from UT and UPRRP. Additionally, he holds several certifications in HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, CBRN, and Environmental Audits. With his diverse experience and expertise, Mr. Fuentes continues to make a significant contribution to the success of DECA Analytics and its clients.
Colton Wandke is the Co-Founder & Partner at DECA Analytics, LLC, where he focuses on executing the firm’s capital markets services and strategic initiatives for clients. With significant expertise in transaction advisory and non-dilutive capital structuring, Mr. Wandke leads the firm’s tax credit, grants, and debt financing programs.
Before co-founding DECA Analytics, Mr. Wandke worked in investment banking and private equity, where he gained significant industry experience in the financial services industry. In his prior roles, he led numerous buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions and participated in debt and equity capital raises for clients focusing on the Life Sciences and Technology industries.
Mr. Wandke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the SDSU Fowler College of Business and the designation of CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst). With his diverse expertise and experience in the financial services industry, he continues to drive the success of DECA Analytics and its clients.
James Pérez, Ph.D., is the Director of Innovation & Federal Programs at Deca Analytics, where he oversees technology transformations and the implementation of strategies for federal funding programs, including the preparation and presentation of federal grants.
James brings over 20 years of varied experience as a scientist, manager, senior advisor, and strategic planner in the life sciences industry and the economic development field. He joined Deca Analytics after a 17-year tenure at the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce, where he managed the industrial research and development program that consists of a portfolio of economic incentives related to industrial R&D and innovation. The program, which promotes investments in innovation to increase Puerto Rico’s global competitiveness, includes cash grants, R&D tax credits, and industrial tax exemption. James developed public policies to maximize return on investment and achieve measurable business development outcomes from the program. Also, he developed and managed the R&D certification process and collaborated with public, private, and academic sectors on the implementation of effective technology-led economic development strategies. James managed a certification region with over 40 high-technology manufacturing facilities from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and information technology industry sectors, among others.
Prior to public service, James’ professional background included management, technical support to manufacturing operations, and industrial research and development in the pharmaceutical and consumer products industries. James holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University. His broad experience and expertise in industrial innovation, technology-led public policy, effective government incentives procurement processes, and Puerto Rico’s unique R&D tax credit program, will drive the success of DECA Analytics, LLC’s most impactful services and initiatives.
Keishla has over 15 years of experience as an educator and university professor at various educational institutions and universities in Puerto Rico and has been responsible for their strategic planning, accreditation processes and grant writing. She was the Director of the Center for Innovation and Technology at the Puerto Rico Small Business Development Centers (PR SBDC) and also managed the Puerto Rico Innovation and Entrepreneurship Assistance Program (PRidea), a grant from the Small Business Administration (SBA) Federal and State Technology Partnership (FAST) program, for which she was the primary proposal writer —a grant that had not been awarded to Puerto Rico since 2015. As Director of the Center, Keishla leveraged her experience in the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs to provide assistance to entrepreneurs and researchers to further develop their innovations and commercialize their products. She also provides support and training to entrepreneurs, researchers, business counselors and different organizations in areas such as SBIR fundamentals, how to write a competitive SBIR proposal, cybersecurity, commercialization process, business planning for tech companies, intellectual property, patents, nontraditional forms of acquiring capital for your business, among others. Keishla also serves as a reviewer for the National Science Foundation’s SBIR programs.
Yolanda González is the Director of Finance & Principal at DECA Analytics, LLC, where she focuses on overseeing the firm’s finances and investments, in addition to implementing non-dilutive incentives strategies for clients. With extensive years of experience working in different areas of accounting and finance within both the public and private sectors, Yolanda brings significant expertise to her role at DECA Analytics.
Yolanda has served as the Chief Financial Officer of multiple renewable energy companies in Puerto Rico. Prior to moving back to Puerto Rico, she was a Corporate Senior Accountant in a Fortune 500 corporation based in Jacksonville, FL, dedicated to Title Insurance and Investments. Throughout her career, Yolanda has worked as a Controller and Manager in a multitude of industries with a demonstrated successful career, bringing vast amounts of experience and operational knowledge to clients.

John Pelling is the Director of Capital Markets at DECA Analytics, LLC where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s capital market activities. Prior to joining DECA Analytics, LLC, Mr. Pelling worked at Arctis Global, a hedge fund in San Juan, Puerto Rico from 2021 to 2023. His responsibilities included covering financials with a specific focus on the US bank sector and various agricultural commodities, providing support to portfolio managers with regard to various other special situation studies, and frequently communicating with management teams, research analysts, and investors.
Before his time with the hedge fund, he served as Capital Planning & Investor Relations Officer for First BanCorp. in San Juan, Puerto Rico from 2012 to 2021. His responsibilities included overseeing the Capital Plan and Dodd Frank Annual Stress Test (DFAST), led the analysis of special projects and strategic initiatives relating to capital planning, merger and acquisition opportunities, and loan sales/divestitures. Prior to First BanCorp., Mr. Pelling served as Director of Financial Institutions Group and Investor Relations at Bayview Asset Management, a hedge fund in Miami, Florida, where he was responsible for business development, investor relations, and capital raising for the Bayview Funds, client relationship management, and business development.
Mr. Pelling’s career began in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of SunTrust Equitable Securities, where he applied financial theory and valuation principles for numerous financial advisory engagements. He continued to develop his expertise, working as a Senior Associate in Investment Banking for FTN Financial Securities and later at Friedman Billings Ramsey Group in New York City, where he was involved in the origination and execution of public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, as well as valuations for banks, thrifts, and specialty finance companies.
Mr. Pelling graduated from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Mr. Pelling has a wealth of experience in capital markets and financial services, making him a valuable asset to DECA Analytics, LLC.
Kariana P. Ortiz Díaz, ESQ., an experienced attorney, leverages her extensive experience in law and accounting to skillfully navigate complex legal and financial landscapes. Her diverse background, spanning both the public and private sectors, equips her with a unique perspective essential for navigating the intricacies of corporate and financial law. Currently, she serves as an Incentives Advisor and Associate Legal Counsel at DECA Analytics, LLC, where she supports clients with foundational level setup and structuring services, government incentives, and ongoing compliance.
Ms. Ortiz Díaz’s professional journey showcases a dynamic blend of experiences in both the private and public sectors. She commenced her legal career in the private sector as a Tax Advisory Associate at BDO Puerto Rico, focusing on corporate governance, transactions, and tax legislation, and incentives. Her role involved tax-related investigations and strategic legal counsel, laying a foundation for corporate tax and transactional strategies.
Her journey continued at Cancio Covas & Santiago, LLP, and Sepulvado, Maldonado & Couret, where she served as an Associate Attorney and Notary Public. These roles saw her deeply engaged in highly complex and significant corporate, financing, and real estate transactions, alongside advising on corporate and shareholder structures, across public and private sectors. At Edge Legal LLC, Ms. Ortiz Díaz further broadened her expertise in corporate law, taking on pivotal roles in corporate governance, financial transactions, including real estate and commercial, and tax incentives. Transitioning to the public sector, she became an Attorney at the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. In this capacity, she managed legal affairs, provided counsel on diverse legal matters, including policies and procedures, regulations, and contracts, and represented the corporation in legal proceedings, gaining unique insights into public sector legal dynamics.

Amanda M. Castillo Casiano, Esq. is an Incentives Advisor at DECA Analytics, LLC.
Mrs. Castillo-Casiano started her career in the Wealth Management Tax Compliance Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers while she was studying law at night. After graduating she joined Casillas Santiago & Torres, LLC, and several years later, Marichal Hernandez Santiago & Juarbe, LLC, where she mostly focused on strategic tax planning, corporate governance, government compliance and incentives. Prior to joining DECA, she led a team of Researchers in the process of assisting small and medium businesses throughout the US jurisdictions to request the Employee Retention Credit and the Research and Development Credit.
She holds a Bachelors in Science of Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (Magna Cum Laude, 2013), and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico Law School (Cum Laude, 2017).

Soto Nieves is an Accountant & Operations Manager at DECA Analytics, LLC, where his focus is to oversee the big picture of the company, managing processes, purchasing, accounting, human resources, inventory, and IT. He is responsible for optimizing internal operations, streamlining workflows, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily activities. Mr. Soto started his career at Maximo Solar Industries in the Engineering Department as a project coordinator, where he handled administrative tasks for the project manager and team members to keep the projects running smoothly. Some of the main tasks included ordering equipment and supplies, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments. Once Mr. Soto obtained his BBA in Accounting, he was transferred to the Finance Department and started working as an Accounting Assistant at Maximo Solar Industries. Prior to joining DECA Analytics, LLC, Mr. Soto worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Maximo Solar Industries for both Puerto Rico and Florida’s division.

Ms. Trishala Shetty is the Senior Associate & Head of Analytics at DECA Analytics, where she focuses on evaluating strategic opportunities and financing operations. With over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ms. Shetty brings extensive expertise to her role at DECA Analytics.
Ms. Shetty started her career at J.P. Morgan in the Global Corporate Finance Operations (GCFO) division of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) team, where she created management presentations and deal pitchbooks that were delivered to CEO’s, CFO’s, and Board of Directors of high-profile companies. She also worked as an Accounting Associate at Trishala Enterprises, her family business, where she provided book-keeping assistance and automated the entire accounting and billing process.
For the past four years, Ms. Shetty has been working exclusively in the financial analytics space. Most recently, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at McKenzie and Associates, where she focused on various services including but not limited to corporate valuation analysis, financial modeling, industry research, and preparing presentation materials. Prior to that, Ms. Shetty worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Madison Street Capital (MSC), where she assisted a team of senior analysts on multiple valuation services, M&A, and financial advisory deals.
Ms. Shetty holds a Master of Science in Finance degree from Illinois Institute of Technology’s (IIT) Stuart School of Business, Chicago. At IIT, she represented the school in two global competitions, namely, CFA Research Challenge (Chicago Regional Winners) and McGill International Portfolio Challenge (Semi-finalist). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Advanced Accountancy and Finance from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai – India. Carolina González is an analyst at DECA Analytics, where she plays a crucial role in supporting the company by providing valuable insights based on financial modeling and research. With her extensive knowledge of finance, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence, Carolina has become an integral member of the DECA Analytics team.
Before starting her career with DECA Analytics, Carolina interned as an Assistant to the Senate President, which helped her gain valuable experience in the inner workings of legislative offices. This experience has been valuable in her current position, as it has equipped her with transferable skills such as project management. Before joining DECA Analytics as a Financial Associate, Christopher Diaz honed his expertise at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt within the Corporate Strategy – FP&A and Business Intelligence Group. There, he led the development of financial models across various business lines, oversaw monthly budgeting processes, and provided variance reports that were crucial for strategic planning.
Previously, Christopher served as an Analyst in Credit Risk Management & Advisory at Goldman Sachs. In this role, he worked closely with Investment Advisors, Legal, and Compliance teams to assess financial performances and update fund metrics, thereby enhancing the firm’s credit risk management and investment strategies.
Christopher’s professional journey in finance began at Loop Capital in Chicago, where, as a Summer Analyst in the Infrastructure Advisory and Public Finance Group, he crafted cash flow models for debt offerings and developed financial analyses for various RFPs.

Sergio Corona Lopez is a Senior Accountant at DECA Analytics LLC, where he oversees and manages day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. He prepares and analyzes financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, manages month-end and year-end closing processes, and provides support during audits by external auditors and regulatory agencies. He develops and implements internal controls and procedures to improve efficiency and mitigate financial risks, collaborates with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives, and assists with special projects and ad hoc financial reporting tasks as needed.
Before joining DECA Analytics, Sergio worked as a Senior Accountant and Tax Professional in San Juan, PR, where he managed the month-end accounting close process, day-to-day accounting operations, and annual budget performance. He also drove continuous improvements in the company’s accounting processes and systems and managed the annual audit process. Sergio’s previous experience includes roles as a Senior Accountant at Autoexpreso, Manager at San Juan Tutor, and Manager at Patisserie Valerie in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Driven by a passion for service and a desire to challenge himself, Rosendo transitioned to the United States Air Force, where he served for 5 1/2 years as an F-35 crew chief. Simultaneously, he pursued higher education, embarking on a journey to earn a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), which he is set to complete in 2025.

Adriana Pérez has dedicated her career to working with startups. After graduating from Marquette University, she joined the Venture for America fellowship, which led her to work at Wyzzer, a VC backed minority-founded startup in Kentucky. She then became the first employee at Hillman (now Lightship Capital), the Midwest’s first minority accelerator, supporting diverse founders.
Adriana earned an MBA from the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with MIT Sloan. After graduating, she returned to Puerto Rico to support local startups and drive economic development at Parallel18 under their venture capital arm.

Andrés Otálora is the Senior Tax Analyst where he is involved in corporate tax management, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize tax strategies, manage compliance for clients, and develop strategies for business optimization.
His professional career starts in one of the Big 4 in the tax area of Colombia, managing to work in different areas such as compliance, consulting, corporate reporting, transfer pricing, among others with different sectors of the economy such as retail, automotive, oil & gas, financial, etc. Later, he had the opportunity to work at IBM Colombia as a Tax Analyst, among his responsibilities were requests for favorable balances in direct and indirect taxes, compliance, corporate reports, consulting, etc.
In his last job experience prior to DECA Analytics, he was working in a shared services center for Diageo in Colombia, where he developed experience in taxes in different Latin American countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Peru and Paraguay working with different stakeholders around the world. There he also had the opportunity to lead some process improvement projects for cost optimization in Tequila production, and a globally award-winning spin-off project in Mexico. Jordan Collins is a Renewable Energy Consultant at DECA Analytics, where he supports clients on complex renewable energy activities under Act 60. He specializes in structuring projects to maximize federal Investment Tax Credits (ITC) and Production Tax Credits (PTC), as well as navigating various local and federal renewable energy grants.
Jordan brings over 13 years of diverse experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on renewable energy, energy storage, and onsite generation project development. Jordan has served as the General Counsel at Pangaea General Management, LLC, where he supported the development and decarbonization of digital currency data centers across the United States.
Additionally, as President of Tikkun Olam Energy, Jordan developed portfolio-level energy strategies and managed project development for real estate, commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients. His responsibilities included technical due diligence, financial modeling, rate analysis, vendor selection, procurement strategies, and project management.

Robert brings extensive experience in AI-driven application development, blockchain, and digital transformation. He is the Founder & CEO of DRM3 Labs, where he focuses on improving data monetization practices and transparency in the data trade. As a Founding Principal at 7Sigma, Robert specializes in AI-driven application development, blockchain, and digital, offering comprehensive CTO & CPO services, guiding product development, and driving Web3 and AI initiatives.
At OpenText, Robert served as a Senior Principal Product Manager, leading the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for the Application-to-Application Integration Portfolio. He coordinated cross-functional teams across multiple continents and developed product roadmaps to support data and message exchange solutions.
