Sowmya Babu is an experienced accounting professional with extensive experience in audit and analytical services. Currently, she serves as an Audit Associate at DECA Analytics, specializing in financial analysis, Agreed Upon Procedure (“AUP”) audits, and data analysis. Her role is pivotal in enhancing the company’s auditing capabilities and ensuring meticulous financial assessment.

Mrs. Sowmya’s journey in the financial sector began at Deloitte & Touché, where she focused on testing financial line Items and Substantive Sections. Her expertise was further developed at PWC, applying GAAP in audits and refining audit methodologies. At Accenture Solutions, she contributed significantly to analysis of various expenses, Balance sheet Reconciliation and month end closing procedures.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Carmel College and progressing through Chartered Accountancy (CA) IPCC, Mrs. Sowmya’s educational background solidifies her expertise in financial principles.
